About Us

About Magik at Middleton St George

West Park Day Nursery provides community based Out of School Club care for all children aged 3-11 who attend the following two schools:

West Park Academy, West Park, Darlington

St George’s Church of England Academy, in the village of Middleton St George.

We are based within our host school in each setting, this means your child will remain on the school site throughout the school day.

Reasons to have confidence in our staff

Each out of School Club has a strict adult to child ratio that adheres to Ofsted requirements, stating that there should be at least one adult to every eight children from 3-8 years of age. All of the staff who work at our Out of School Clubs undergo a robust recruitment process. We insist on two reference checks and clearance from the Disclosure and Barring service before staff begin their employment with us.

All of the staff have also completed a mandatory induction period to enable them to completely understand their roles and be familiar with the policies, procedures and daily routines of the Out of School Clubs, parents can, at any time, read the Policies and Procedures file available at each setting.

Why choose West Park Day Nursery Out of School Clubs?

Our Clubs are all situated within schools for your convenience.

Fantastic Out of School care and stimulating activities for all.

We have a dedicated team that are fully qualified and are all DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid Trained.
